Meeberg can offer ISO tank containers with various T-code classifications, each specifying the test pressure, shell thickness, pressure relief setup, and outlet arrangement suitable for different types of cargo. The T-code system plays a crucial role in ensuring the safe transportation of dangerous goods, covering classes 1 and 3 through 9, as well as class 2.
Introduced in 2001, the T-code system categorizes tank containers from T1 through T75, with each code indicating the type of cargo the container is designed to carry:
T1: Light liquids, Juice, Wine
T3: Diesel, Jet Fuel
T4: Non-hazardous food-grade liquids, edible and non-edible oils
T11: Hazardous chemicals like Sulfuric Acid, Caustic Soda, and Hydrochloric Acid
T14: Hazardous chemicals
T50: LPG and ammonia gas
T75: Liquefied gases
This classification system is essential for regulatory compliance and ensures that tank containers are appropriately equipped to handle specific hazardous materials while maintaining safety standards during transport.
We offer both new builds and used tank containers directly delivered from our stock. For used tanks, the delivery time typically ranges from 1 day to 3 weeks, depending on the necessary preparation, refurbishment, inspection, testing, and the quantity of ISO tank containers ordered.
